A little bit about OBC!
Oliver Behavioral Consultants (OBC) was founded by Dr. Patricia Oliver in 2010 with the goal of creating a cohesive interdisciplinary team of Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Mental Health Therapists (PhD., LPC). OBC utilizes a strong and collaborative team approach to create comprehensive interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients, their families and communities.
For example, a client diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) may receive speech and occupational in our clinic and ABA therapy at home because our team and the client's family decided that this approach and type of therapy is best for this individual client. Our team then continuously reviews and discusses progress of the client's interventions and makes adjustments based on the data collected throughout all therapy sessions.
In addition to a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach, OBC strives to coordinate care with schools and other service providers for each individual client as we understand the importance of consistent delivery of services throughout a client's daily life. This may mean that one or more members of the client's team will regularly contact a client's service providers and attend IFSP or IEP meetings if the family would like that.
OBC continues to expand in an attempt to meet the needs of our wonderful community. We are proud of our growing team of caring individuals with diverse skill sets and backgrounds. This allows us to match our clients and families with therapists that best meet their unique needs.
